Does anyone have the front housing of an Impreza 6 speed gearbox available and still in reasonable condition?
(the section which houses the front diff)

Not the most common thing I know.. but just wondering if anyone has something kicking around in their shed.

I'll do the wrecker's ring around eventually... if no luck with P-wrx peoples.

Alex, I've just done the ring around all over Aus looking for one for a customer. The only two I found were crackpipe $.

One that had no speedo output (from a late Legacy) for $500

Or a used 2002 housing for a grand plus freight.

What's happened to yours? Possibility of fixing mine with yours, vice-versa?

Mine has the clutch pivot broken off.

My front housing just has a few stripped threads which I'm sure heli-colis will fix.. so nothing as bad as yours..
But one of the longs studs in the front section might of done a bit damage, but won't know the full extent until I get it apart.
