I got a my00 wrx motor 18xxxxkm also comes with psr silicon intake. Ran sweet when I pulled it out to upgrade
$900.

I thought ADR rules that's illegal to put older motors in newer cars?
Also intake is different GC to GD

long motor is engine + heads only . his intake,exhaust ect has to be transfered over

there isnt a rule that has any obligation for putting a early engine in a car aslong as its virtualy the same

Yeah thats what i thought.. maybe getting it mixed up with the earlier models.. fair bump carry on!

thanks guys i just did a compression check on the car and found out that i was just burning heaps of fuel and that there was nothing wrong with pistons or heads thanks heaps tho and if i need a 2nd hand engine i know where to go
