Default Corner Weight Scales

Hi all, does anyone know of anybody who hires out corner weight scales? Would only need them for a couple of days max.

Cheers

Default Go gear

Call Go Gear and they have a set of longacre scales which they hire out.

$55 a night last time I used them...

Don't forget to disconnect your sway bars when corner weighing a car...

Cheers

Sorry Stona for the dumb Noob q.

Why disconnect the sway bar? Wouldn't the sway bars connected show the weights of the car as it actually sits, or is the total weight evenly spread across the vehicle from left to right with the sways connected.

You have a scale under each wheel to corner balance it. The sways connect the LH and RH sides together to stop the car rolling on the suspension. If you leave them connected you are not getting the true weight on the corner as some of the weight will be transferred through the sway bar.
