hey guy's as title suggests, i'm chasing a momo shifter knob, preferably a subaru model as they're the threaded type which i'd prefer over the ebay multi-fit types with the set screws (though i would still consider it if i liked the look of it). must be exc condition. If i have no luck here i may have to go through subaru, anyone know what they sell them for?? i'm sure they'll be expensive, anyways cheers in advance

Hi mate not sure if this is any help. I got a genuine momo race knob from a shop caled MOTOQUIPE in whitfords shopping centre??? i got it for $160 cash. It is the universal fit with the grub screws but i have had on the car for over three months now and have never had a problem.

recommend not sourcing it through them as they are really expensive and you can more than likely source it cheaper else where.

See if any of the knobs on Japanparts.com take your fancy? I purchased the 5 speed duracon knob and couldn't be happier!

cheers for the advice so far, i just checked out japanparts and they had some very nice ones on there, although the one i like (which looks the same as the one subaru uses, round, silver/black momo ) is $166 plus postage, surely they can't be too much more than that from subaru ?

Give the guys at Subaru a call. I've found some things on that site way cheaper than from here. And some a bit more than you can get locally. Best thing is now you can call them and just give them the part number!

for anyone thats interested i just rang subaru, they sell the shift knobs for $188, pretty steep but i knew it would be
