Im only new here just made an account but im looking for a WRX between 2000 and 2002 the bug eye model.

Im only after a cheapy because i want to build on it myself so if anyone knows of one that doesnt even have an engine or has mechanical problems that would be ideal.

I decided to be fussy and only get one in the rally blue colour

To be honest the cheaper the better!

If you have or no anyone who has one would be greatly appreciated

try get an 02. Better gear ratio

Happy hunting. Plenty of cheap blue 02's going for around 10-12k. Have hard of them going for cheaper, but with more kms usually

Car already comes with brand new EJ207, Cosworth Cams, GTPumps TD06 20g Turbo, Injector Dynamics 1,000cc Injectors, heads re-done and ported as well as TGV delete, and brand new Exedy SuperTuff Clutch.

A lot of sundry items were replaced in the process of the engine out including water pump, oil pump, hoses etc 'all genuine items'.

that looks awesome and perfect for what i went except its not blue. how much does a car that is a repairable write off go for and do they come up for sale often?

They come up every week but usually not that undamaged body wise or necessarily blue, this one was probably stolen and recovered after it was paid out or a repo and not good enough to go through their Balcatta auctions, you can also keep an eye on Fowles at the airport.

It's a gamble but you usually do ok at the auctions.
