Busted 5 speeds seem to come in waves, none for 6 weeks then 3 get towed in in one week! Has the drag racing season started early?

I still have the 5 speed from our MY00. Gearset is fine. Wouldn't change gears properly.
Box remains unopened, so final verdict unknown.

I guess it depends if you want to take a chance on it. Might be able to swap out bits from both boxes to get a working one.
