XA Falcon panels wanted
as good as condition as possible, need these for a full restoration.
doors (sedan) bonnet - prefer a genuine GT but cant be fussy (i have a GT one on the car, but its pretty farked) |
For the love of all that is, please tell me you'll be creating a build thread on this?
|
Not the cheapest option but have you tried Rare Spares?
How bad is the current doors? maybe get the outer shell rebuilt? |
havent tried rare spares, will check them out asap.
marc, i can if anyones interested? its a genuine gt, the resto is only a low budget one of about 40-50k. cheers |
Thats plenty for a resto dependent on engine and driveline specs.
Trick is to bide your time when looking for parts. Any chance you can post a pic of the project car as is and focus on parts you think need to be replaced? The beauty of these older cars is patch-work is possible due to thicker metal 'i.e no need to worry as much about metal distortion'. |
try denis & marlene at australian gt reproduction parts, they have heaps of hard to get bits
Australian GT Reproduction Parts and yeah i'd be keen to see a driveway thread too  |
driveline needs no work thankfully.
will make a thread with some pics as the car is now cheers |
I'm a Holden guy at heart, but ant old metal is good metal, so +1 on diveway thread.
|
will it have a rotatory engine ?
|
