thanks mate still with the wrap would it sink into the holes and where abouts can you find those rubber plugs?

Clark Rubber etc. (I think), haven't done it myself but just remembering what people have said before.

For the STI spoiler, you'll have a lot of holes to plug, however... have seen it done on a MY11 WRX & it actually looked really good with all the plugged holes, other cars it looks a bit tacky. Do be aware that they will stick up a few mm above the level of the boot too.

And for the carbon wrap, it will sink a little bit... the 3M stuff is pretty rigid and thick though, so don't expect it to do it to the extreme that something like tape would do.
