Tumble Generator Valve. Makes for easier cold starts, efficiency at low speed, basically just swirls the air by closing a butterfly off inside the manifold.

The butterflies, the butterfly shaft and the venturi of the butterfly housing seriously restrict air flow at higher power levels.

So virtually if your pumping large HP you've virtually given away low speed efficiency etc so you may as well remove?
