Hi Guys, I'm after a RHS mirror for our GC8 rally car, as I clipped a big gum tree with the last one! The plastic cover is fine, just the mirror is full of cracks. If anyone has one lying around that we could get for cheap, that would be sweet.
I have called a few Glaziers but none were keen to cut a new one, and told me to get one from a wreckers..

I have a pair of lx (non-electric) mirrors you can have cheap.

Sounds like what I am after, but I live in Como, and work in Henderson, so something closer/SOR would be better.

I had a glazier in Balcatta cut a couple for me, I don't see why they would say no, tried walking in off the street with a pattern? only problem you'll have is they won't fit inside the plastic trim as they use 3mm glass and the originals are 2mm, I just Sikaflexed mine in place and never noticed after the first day.

Don't be a Jew Wavey. Get the carbon ones from Ultrex they weigh like 300 grams and yours weigh like 8 kilos each. Do this and you'll chop me for sure.

Fair call Doug, your mirrors do look good, but I'm pretty sure some new tyres or a better intercom or a roof vent would make us go quicker than specci mirrors.
