Default WTD Perth : GC8 alloy control arm to suit RS Wagon

Hi all,

Just chasing some alloy control arms to suit my RS Wagon.
I believe GC8 WRX type are the go ...
Suspension upgrade pending , I think these would be a nice upgrade to match the rest of the gear to be fitted.

Thanks,

Brad H.

Sounds a bit over the top to me, used to be $300 then dropped as low as $200-250 lately, try privately.

Sounds about right to me. Another wreckers in Perth sells them for $440 each.

Edit; Make sure the ball joints and sway bar links are included. They are different and costly otherwise.

Surely he will be getting roll centre kit + adjustable links right??
I got mine cheap because the ball joint boots were split and I'm getting the whiteline kit.

No.
I advised against the roll centre kit as the car is not super low and I'm not a big fan of the ball joints used. It's a case of people assuming they need stuff just because someone makes it. Not always the case.
Adjustable sway bar links? Why would you? They should only ever be adjusted to the exact same length as each other, if they are adjusted to different lengths something is wrong.
The reason I advised to get the links and ball joints is that they are different to the ones in a RS Liberty and it adds substantially to the conversion if you buy them separately. The ball joints themselves are fairly inexpensive but the tapered adapter isn't and if the ball joint is removed the tapered adapter is usually lost.

Morning Gents,

Thanks for the responces.
Hoping to follow this up today with a wrecker or private seller depending on what I need exactly.
Now im a little confused:

Will the front link set from the Whiteline KLC 31 kit I already have suit the GC8 arms ?
Sounds like the tappered adapter is crucial ,where can I get them if the arms are supplied without these ?

Mao @ Evo r has everything you need.
Your existing sway bar links will also be no good to you.
While your under there, id be doing the sway bar (if you havent already..) if your doing the new links, Whiteline also do the roll centre kit with new tierod ends with the new tapered joint you need for alloy arms... Is all good gear..

I'm still not convinced on the anti lift kit is any good based on feedback from Warwick & others..

Have a look at white line website. Put the details in of your car or 94 wrx if liberty isn't in there.. Get all the numbers parts you can want / can afford, pm or drop into see Mao, who is generally always cheaper I've found..

Hope that helps..
