Someone recently saw one pop up but it got snapped up right away, eastern states anyways.

Will I be dreaming for a long time or is there a way to source one?
Any input on this will be very helpful other than just telling me I'm dreaming.

Not that many in Oz.... still possible to source out of the US or possibly Canada, but hard to find and will cost you landed. Ones over her are prized and rarely come up for sale....and even in the US people are hoarding them.

All depends what you want to do !

If you want to build a 2.6 or 2.7L big horsepower EJ good luck and go for it, if you just want to build a 300Kw 2.2-2.5 with a piss weak turbo you'd be wasting it and should be horse whipped.
Close deck a N/A 2.2 or sleeve a CD 2.0 or what ever if you want that.

dreaming for a closed deck ej22, just use a old RS liberty closed deck block and sleeve it, while they are at it change the crank to rear thrust.
