The issue is basing a wrc event in a country where it is still considered an obscure motorsport as well as a city with a population of only 100,000 and a good 400-500 kms from big cities means there will be few spectators in comparison to when Rally Oz was based here. I was in Murwillumbah in 2009 when the wrc passed through there and rally fans were thinned out pretty well.

I really enjoye Rally Oz in 2009, don't get me wrong it was better over here.
The Rally could have been bigger and better this year as the organisers would have learnt from 2009, so its back to square one again re-organisation. BTW we laughted at some of the hippies in a petrol 60 series, holding up signs about petrol guzzlers.
