Hitechs get the thumbs up from me. Note and quality are very good. I had Nik and ASG fab 3 inch centre pipe with hotdog in s/s. Still get a bit of crack and pop on the over runs but nothing that is going to upset the po po.

Look what arrived in the mail. Great day and many thanks to Jme for organising it all. Quality production all round.

Now to do some breathing and cooling mods next week to improve HP for drags. Torque was not too bad.

Update from yesterday's visit to ASG as follows:

Had a Hyperflow CAI and PSR silicon turbo inlet pipe installed and car returned to suit. Install looks awesome.

Dyno results were a bit of a surprise. The car now sounds (in Jesters words) fully hectic and sik. The dyno graph tells me I lost 12 HP and 5 Nm of torque. Pulls harder and smoother now though. Time will tell if I get some ecu learning with the new mods installed. Max torque of 422 Nm achieved at 3100 rpm and max 230 hp at 4750 hp.

Will post some pictures and dyno chart when I have time today.

Was there much of a difference in air temps Dave? Can't really see why you would lose power from a CAI.

Pete, Sean and I discussed this variable and concluded there really was not. Last tune ambient temp was around 16 C and last night it was around 20 C in the dyno area. Plus with the bonnet open and that bloody huge fan of theirs blowing heat really shouldn't be a factor.

But dyno tells me it pulls harder and smoother though so we will just have to see. Warm weather during the day will tell me a bit I suspect and I am doing some data logging this weekend. I have done bolt on I can with this car now and likely have reached the limit. Next mod TD05-20G and fuel pump.
