PMH : It will be able to see through it, as its only a coloured tint, like the advertisements some people have put in there tint.

Luigi : Yes after 2 days they look grey already and now beings third day they nearly black would hate to see after a week, and iv only driven 140 km and they nearly black lol.

Alex : Yes i think im lucky as i love the car.

I love the car to bits ! but its still gonna cost me alot to get it where i want it, so far looking at exhuast, fuel pump, blow off valve, turbo timer and tune thats starters then probably work on handleing, eg tein coil overs, sway bars and strut braces keep it nice and tight on the road then maybe go fatter wheels. by that stage i might be ready for some more serious engine work

Blow off valve is a waste of money, will stuff your fuel economy and is a deflectable item unless plumbed back. If its plumbed back you might as well just save your money and stick with the stock one.

Turbo timer is also a waste of money and not required. Just don't thrash the hell out of it and turn it straight off. Normal driving idle time is not required with the subaru cooling system design.

i like the sound of the blow off valve, and sometimes im in a rush when get to work and have to turn it straight off so turbo timer would help there.....

For the blow off valve i wanna get one of those new ones where you can control it from in the cabin so when driving around suberbia or cops you can turn it down. heard there around 800$ new.

Turbo timer not sure yet tho its a maybe (what would you call "normal idle time" coz mines about 1-2 seconds lol

The way the cooling system is designed the coolant keeps flowing after you turn the car off ( till it gets cool enough for the thermostat closes anyway ).

If you come flying into the pits at barbs after being full noise down the hill yea idle it for a bit but if you drive it like most normal people drive down their own street and into their garage the last km or two just turn it straight off. You won't hurt anything.

Besides are you really prepared to leave your baby idling, in nuetral ( I always leave in gear in case the handbrake fails or you forget it ) and walk away. If you do your braver than me.

Saves on fuel!!!

Saves pissing your neighbors off to.

Always drive sensibly anywhere you go regularly to avoid unwanted attention.

its funny the amount of people who tell you that you have left your car on, or your lights on...i get it pretty much everytime i go to a major shopping complex.

Or alarm it just as it shuts off and everyone thinks you can remote control your car hahah

+1 For not getting a turbo timer, if they needed one, it would have come from factory. Just drive nicely close to where your going to turn it off.

IMO stock bov makes a wicked release sound, but everyones different =p

Goodluck with the car she looks awesome, not garaging her?
