I used a retic spray from Bunnings rather than a crack pipe priced sprayer from Subaru on the MY05.

Does the switch just turn the hobbs activation on and off?

The factory sprayers give a much finer mist than anything else I found at bunnings,
but Prototype found some good brass ones on the interwebz that work about the same.

The switch (when i finish wiring it) will just be a manual activation.
So when I am sitting on the start line I can press the button to give it a squirt.

The hobbs switch is always 'active' but doesn't open until the set PSI is achieved in the manifold.

Factory sprayer are crack pricing! Plenty of garden spec ones that give good misting.

Good write up Dave!

No shit. $48 for a little nozzle.

I got the bottle, tubing, pump, plug/wiring, button, and nozzles for $100 :D

So, as most are aware by now this happened at the rallysprint event on the weekend...

Thanks to STechnic so far we have sourced new radiator, rad supports, bonnet, bumper, grill, cooling fans, aircon condenser.
Replacement headlights thanks to Rossco.
Still need to order replacement radiator shroud and a front lip.

Will be pulling the front end off on Friday night to check the timing and cam wheels etc.
Hoping there are no surprises once all the cosmetic parts are pulled off and we get a better look at it.

Fingers crossed for you Dave. Hopefully it isn't too much of a painful and delayed exercise.

Glad to see the P-WRX team has come behind with support and quick responses Dave.

Can't wait to see you back on the road.
