Really nice Jamie! This is the car that made me want to have a change. I am trying to focus my mods in a similar path to you (just with less money). I love how OEM it all is. Thats something i am going to try to keep with mine where posible.

At the moment i dont have a oil catch can and am wondering if you think its nessesary for the upcoming collie day with my spec c engine? Also what would you recomend?

Collie doesnt hurt as much as wanners for oil surge, but still evident. How hard you push will determine the urgent necessity of it. I bought the draft42 one from the USA as it has perforated filters in it (x3) versus stainless wool or nothing at all (careful of those ebay ones). The grimmspeed/prova re-circulation units work but can only handle so much fluid as I found out. As long as the catch can is baffled it will be effective in operation.

Yes I recommend it, but not totally urgent. See how you go at collie and if it blows oil through etc.
