Nor can you safely run big cams, nor can you safely run antilag.

Do the shimless bucket conversion if possible, its well worth it for reliability's sake.

Any thoughts on this?

I will be changing the cams and valves,
aim is 300hp atw minimum.
how much boost you planning on running to get 300hp minimum.
I would say 300hp maximum with a vf37.
You should go vf42.

I was thinking bigger.
I might make the new aim 400 horsies. To shut Chad up.
300 will get boring real fast!
Not sure if I will stay twin scroll, tho it would be nice.
What would I need to do to version 3 wrx heads to make it all work? I know spikey has a 207 with STD ver 3 heads and jun cams. Puts out 480hp. 11.06 last night. So ver 3 heads can work.

You like to drive fast in a straight line or around corners? Answer that question and then work out if 300hp isn't fast enough.

imho 300 is plenty for a trackable (read barbagallo, RAC etc) car thats also reliable and street drivable for daily duties, thats what i'm aiming for with a 207 + vf37

sti heads not only bucket under shims, also have bigger more aggressive cams and flow better.
