You cannot 'wind rear lock on' It's a myth.
Unlocked = open = no voltage input, it has a slight bias to the rear but it's certainly not 2wd. It's unpredictable, bordering on dangerously unstable on anything prior to 2005. 'Wound on' it's locked at 50/50, like a 4WD axle winding, plow steering Hilux. Buy a Neetronics Callum, they work. In fact, if you set it up properly it'll be almost as good as a non DCCD gearbox! |

VF 36 is a roller bearing version of the twin scroll VF37, also has a titanium turbine and shaft for even quicker spool.
VF 37 is thrust bearing.

I thought 37 had a thrust bearing, which Dougie tell's me is better.

Its got a 37 on it again.
The headers are a bit different to the old standard ones I had before. I wont be using an aftermarket dccd controller. Going to buy the standard sti unit as i have the 04 loom from bumper to bumper in the gc8.
