Default My '91 Heritage

Howdy, my name's Taylor - 18 years of age. Currently reside in Perth, soon-to-be Heavy Diesel Mechanic. For the meantime; if any of you guys need pushbike parts in Perth - ask for my details and come see me!

Anyway, here's the car - without further adieu ofcourse:

Specs
1991 Subaru Liberty Heritage (g1s1 lovin' - Build Date October 1990), which means full electrics/sunroof/leather interior. 220awhp @ 13psi.

Engine
EJ20H from a JDM 1997 GT-B. currently has ~70,xxxkms
TD05-16G @ 13psi (no blow off valve = )
3" TBE flowing through to oval muffler with 2.5" tip
FMIC with Custom Piping
Walbro Fuel Pump
Turbosmart Mechanical Boost Controller @ 13psi
Stock ECU
Silicone CAI, Pod In Guard
Oil Catch Can

Gearbox/Driveline
JDM GC8 4.11 5-speed
'97 GC8 driveshafts/propshafts/rear 4.11 diff
Mystery clutch which doug whipped up for me, after the first one when I had the second gearbox fitted was down to the rivets. lovely. Relatively sure it's heavy duty, but we didn't really confirm that.

Handling/Suspension
'97 GC8 Struts lowered on SL Kings Springs (Front)
Cusco Adjustable Coilovers on the rear
'02 17x7 STi Rims wrapped in 205/40 Federal 595's
STi Strut Brace
'97 GC8 hubs + rotors up front, stock heritage discs down back
'97 GC8 4pots up front, stock calipers on rear.
Bendix Ultimates all around

Stereo/Interior
Eclipse Headunit
500W JBL monoblock amp
MB Quartz Splits in the back
MB Quartz 6" up the front
OMP 350x90mm Steering Wheel + Chinaspec boost gauge
Legacy Seats w/ Electronic Rails

Almost mechanically sound - has had a new steering rack put in courtesy of doug, as well as a rocker cover gasket replaced and various other bits and pieces. Almost getting where I want it to be! Did an oil swap only a couple of hundred kays ago to some Pennzoil 10w40, the car absolutely loves it.

Plans
225/45 Sumitomo HTR ZII / RE-001 rubber
Windows Retinted
Silicone hosing all around
Respray in good time - either the existing colour or gunmetal grey. Paint ontop of roof and boot is HORRENDOUS
Possibly looking at a PowerFC or equivalent in the near future. Turns out that when I crank the boost past 13psi, the Stock ECU chucks a hissy fit and it leans out huge at topend, so perhaps a SAFC? Still unsure.
Would love some DBA rotors and a plated r160/12kg centre, but i'm probably dreaming.

Some porn:

You must surprise a few people off the lights with her.

looks pretty bunky admittedly; but she has no problems dishing the chop chop to most things.

very happy with how she's going; but i think i've got some slight ignition issues on high boost which are intermittently appearing - hindering the car's performance.

the CEL 21 that I can't be fucked lifting probably isn't doing it much good either :P

Runs stinking rich at the moment.
