the motor is at 40 thou oversize, but the bores cleaned up well. My mate Josh who is a marine diesel mechanic, will be assembling the bottom end with these parts

update on the Torana. Over the long weekend I started taking the 253 out of the car

The block was cleaned and prepped.

Then crank and pistons installed

Now to finish the top end.
