Ok, so as everyone does, i too have a story with this car.. haha =P

Basically, got the car from a dealership and within 2 months the engine popped. Thanks to the awesome guys at Stechnic (doug in particular) I got a new 2000 STI engine dropped in and she's running a charm!

So, as for everything she's stock as a rock, minus the cat prior to the turbo.
The interior and exterior are both in great condition, as well is the general condition of the car. So i figured, i'd throw up some pics for you all to get familiar.

Looks like used to once upon a time - Cat removal is essential on this model year. What happened to the old motor - What broke on it?

I have 150km on my EJ205 - MY01, had a 20psi Verso on it for some time now and she's still going strong.

Should have bought an STI

Bottom end went, and apparently something with the turbo and wastegate was dodged so it could only boost as high as the springs pressure or something? Either way, new engine feels alot smoother and decent bit quicker. Gonna start chasing some mods once i get some cash =)

How did you go with the dealer, did you end up taking them to court, or did they pay a portion/whole amount?

Didn't bother in the end, i figured the end result wasn't worth the hassle. Karma's a bitch, is all i can say. One day it will catch up to them, as im sure it wasn't a once off thing.

They are lovely cars, its a shame just that the non sti headlights are dog ugly. Well, soon to be fixed =P
