I was quite happy with my Red 03 WRX, mods where well underway and i was near content with the stage it was at:



While I was at home bored one day I decided to look at Subaru's on carsales, as i quite frequently do. I never had any intentions on buying a new car I was just looking for a bit of fun.

I then found a completely stock blue 2006 WRX STI for sale.











It had quite high km's at 117,xxx and it was in Townesville. But it was for sale at only $25,000 which i thought was extremely cheap. Thinking that it was too good to be true I made the phone call.

About 2 and a half months later, with lots of stress and organisation it had arrived. Very dirty but in better overall condition than I had expected.





My red rex still had not sold, so i got in some happy snaps:









This was 3 days after it arrived:





After now owning it for a bit over a month, and having holidays over the Christmas period mods have begun...

Firstly I removed the 3" TBE and CAI from my Red Wrx and installed them into my STI:









I also have a Walbro fuel pump waiting to go in, and then VERSO within the next few weeks

Visually I have also installed:

Front lip,
Carbon fibre wrap roof,
Perth-Wrx sticker,
Custom number plate,
Perth-Wrx number plate surrounds,
Replica CF S202 Spoiler,
Sticker bombed center console,
Red A/C control lights.











And I also have my stereo waiting to go in aswell:



After I get my walbro, verso and stereo installed, that will be it for a while.. But i still have a few things i want to do:

Ultrex RS Rims Powdercoated White,
Varex Cannon,
3x Gauges,
Lowered springs for now (coil overs later),
Whiteline Sway Bars,
Ultrex Strut Bars.

I will update once more work has been done....

I done the sticker bomb because it looks different, I had planned on wrapping it in carbon fibre, but I think this stands out heaps more and looks awesome.

Also I like the S202 spoiler heaps more than an s204 spoiler, i picked it up for $230 off rexnet forums.

It took 2.5 months from when I first saw it until it arrived. I waited about 2 weeks before I decided to buy it, then had to wait for a vehicle inspection, and then I had to wait for a loan from the bank to go through, and then waited for about a month for it to be transported.
