I bought the car of some bloke in mandurah fairly stock,
It only had the exhaust done and the boost turned up but it sounded crap.

So iv'e taken all of that off and started from scratch.

Nice forester...

But 300hp atw is a pretty optimistic goal for a forester IMO, and it'll take a fair whack of work to put out that kinda power.
Do a search and you'll find the performance thread, outlining how much power others are putting down; and what gear they are running to get that.

But something along the lines of
EJ207 + TD06 + aftermarket ecu + pump + headers + injectors + bigger tmic/fmic
...should be a good start


Depends what you want from the car though really, and how much you are willing to put into it.

Are you just after the numbers? From your list, your mods look to be mostly cosmetic, or for the 'wank' factor
TD04 will not get you 300hp, nor does it need an external gate

Yeah I no that. It's still a daily at the moment and I'm not sure how much life this motor has left in it' thats why i havent bothered putting in the motec and injectors ect yet. But once it goes I'll be taking it off the road and doing the 207 and 6speed conversion for sure.

yeah drop a version 8 jdm motor in there, will get you closer to 300

to be honest 300hp is nothing these days
