Looking at the pics, that impact is not severe enough to deploy the airbags. it really depends on the direction of the forces, the decelleration.
And just because airbags deploy doesn't make a car a right off.

I had the same sort of front on damage with my last Subaru when it was insured for $24k, I got hit from behind first though, so there was the rear damage as well and the stress of being squished between 2 cars.
Airbags didn't go off either. But mine was only just a write off then. Yours should go through with ease I would think and et fixed and become nice and new again!

Looks to be rear damage on hers too, from looking at one of the pics. Maybe the rear bar got ripped off as well.
