May as well do a write up about my sound system mods.
This was the first thing I changed in my rex, couldn't stand the stock speakers, stock deck had no ipod/usb connectivity and most importantly... no doof doof! I didn't want to spend loads but still get decent stuff. Ended up getting all Pioneer, everything from Car Stereo City in Cannington April 2011.

So, my favourite bit of it all is the deck, because I had the extra space under the stock deck I chose to go for a touch screen
Deck: Pioneer AVH-P3350BT

Features:
- 5.8" Touch screen
- DVD, CD, Radio, SD card, USB, ipod, Aux
- 2 Din
- Bluetooth
- Can choose multiple colours and backgrounds (I stick with red)

Speakers: Fronts; some fancy speakers (cant find box with product name haha)
Rears; suppose to be TS-A1684S, to be mounted on rear parcel shelf... until I realised how much effort that was... so atm I'm only running front speakers and I'm fine with that.

Amp: Pioneer GM-D9500F, Four-channel, 800w, Class FD

Sub: Pioneer TS-W309S4, 1400w

Overall I'm pretty happy with it all Only issues I have had is connecting ipod to the deck, seems to come up with an error message or not recognising device, but I mainly use usb to play my music anyway. Loving the bluetooth feature too, best thing about the deck in my opinion.

ending up velcro- ing the shiat out of it

Be very careful parking in Forest Lakes Steph... your stereo equipment might end up in a silver bugeye wagon :P

Haha oi! I might have to push my cousin's car out of the garage in that case!

As in my opinion on it...? I love it! Everyone recons you need two subs... I'm happy with just the one!

From the looks of that garage door I am sure I could get past it :P
