Default Bird's 03 WRX

Hey guys,

Some of you might know me as the guy with the evo, but this isn't entirely true. The evo wasn't actually my car, as my dad actually owns it. Although i went out for the odd cruise, i felt like having my own performance car after a while. After getting hooked on the spool of a turbo, i decided to buy a 2003 wrx.

The car is pretty good at the moment, although future plans include an STi Rear Wing, a front lip and new numberplates.

Anyway, here's the spec sheet;

Power
  • VF34 with Forge actuator
  • Butler dump and mid-pipe with Hayward & Scott 3" diff-back (backbox)
  • STi 550cc injectors "pinks"
  • Upgraded fuel pump
  • Process West TMIC
  • Silicon intake
... which result in 265whp with 335.2nm.

Handling
  • Whiteline G4 coilovers
  • Whiteline MAX C adjustable strut tops (fronts)
  • Whiteline rear camber bolts
  • Whiteline 22mm front & 24mm rear adjustable swaybars
  • Whiteline anti-lift kit
  • Whiteline front roll-centre adjustment kit
  • Whiteline steering rack bushings

Wheels/Tyres
  • Prodrive GC-10E 18x8.5
  • Yokohama C-drives
  • Rays locking wheel nuts

Brakes
  • DBA4000 rotors X4
  • Brand new front Bendix Ultimate pads
  • ADR-compliant stainless steel braided brake lines
  • Brake master cylinder stopper installed

DOOF DOOF
  • Alpine CDA-9885 head unit
  • MB quart front splits
  • Alpine coaxial rear speakers
  • MB quart 12" sub
  • Alpine MRV-F345 amp
  • Alpine MRD-605 sub amp

Aesthetics
  • STi front splitters and fog light covers
  • "De-orange" headlight mod (turn indicators do light up orange though)
  • GFB short shifter
  • Momo/Subaru shift knob
  • STi shift surround
  • Ultrex Spec V Front Lip
  • Genuine STi Spoiler
  • Debadge

See you on the cruises,
bird

Im debating whether to de-wing or to get an sti wing. Here is a VERY similar car with an sti wing.

Hopefully one day i'll be able to get her down

On an unrelated note, does anybody know any good photographers? Would love to get a few professional shots of my car done. PM if you have any recommendations.

I agree with everyone with getting the wing taken off, or get the S203 wing as something different... Needs a front lip and de-badging and more low ASAP! Otherwise, very very tidy car mate! Avatar is much better without the EVO in there too :P

Welcome - nice to see new members with logical appropriate mods and not asking where to get a external venting BOV.

Agree with the de-wing - unless it's really providing downforce then "why"?
