probably where all the factory a/c & heater box sits? then pump the coolant through the car to the back radiator?
|
Heck yes! This is looking sick! Where is your shop Simon?
|
where is the intercooler sitting Simon? i know in your post you said against the firewall but i just cant see how that will sit?
Craig, Chris is right. See pics attached. Intercooler is inside the car, coolant (water) lines will run, front to rear, going through a ice cooler..... etc, etc. The air side of the intercooler, has lines of around 1m in total, which I belive is around 1/2 the size of having a front mount. Well done on the times & placing on the weekend mate. Quick times : )
Heck yes! This is looking sick! Where is your shop Simon?
I don't have a shop mate. Its a friends place in High Wycombe. So, pedal box rocked up today & I took a couple of photos to show the intended placement of the reservoirs. The pedals should be just fines, as they sat in place just fine. The spacing is pretty close, well, close than what I'm used too, but I should get used to them. I hope. PHOTOS!!!!! I would just like to remind everyone of how humble this car's beginning were!

Haha, No WTAC for me mate. I just want to get a 60.XX time at Barbagello. Going from some previous cars & their times, its a possibility.

Quick update,
So I have a little son now, so a fair amount of my time has been spent with him & helping out where I could at home over the last couple of months. But I still managed to get some work done & I finally feel like I'm over the hump of putting everything back together again. The only real unknown for me right now is the pedal box, but I know a few people that know some shit about brakes. I prepped the engine bay & got a mates mate who knew another bloke from the Kebab shop to paint it for me. It turned out ok I think, so long as you are wearing a decent pair of sunnies when you open the bonnet. So just to keep track, Painting of the engine bay Motor in Dry sump kit is pretty much installed - Image looks like the hoses are hitting the headers from the sump area. They are in the pic, only because they were not connected to the pump. There is actually heaps of clearance. So, there are still a few more things to get done, but, as I said before, once the brakes are done, it should be smooth sailing. |
Wow! Congrats on your son mate! Awesome.
Car look mint!! |
well done on the kid, did the two fags from Modern Family inspire you and your life partner?
Take it easy now, no more breakages as nappies cost a fortune. Congrats at nearly finishing too. |
pedal box means no bootser, just straight hydraulics and brake bias?
