1 lap in a group of 15 slowly, then its up to you what speed you want to go :) Its pretty easy though, after a couple of runs you remember it easy as.

Did a few mods today, to try and get rid of the miss fire we were experiencing at the Rally Sprint when boosting over 14 psi. The car ran ok @ 14 - 15 psi at Jacks Hill, but anything over this it seems to have a bit of a miss fire.

I have already swapped the plugs out for some Platinum ones, but this did not help. I decided to do the upgrade on coil on plug, so with parts donated by Neil (seagull - cheers mate), I started this morning. Old style coil over plug, with separate igniter

New style coil packs installed with the igniter inside the coil pack itself. Its was fairly straight forward to do this, a few wires to cut and solder, nothing too major though.

Z32 AFM also installed today whilst I had the soldering iron out. Again not a huge job, I just took my time and made sure I did it right. No photos of this though.

I just took the car for a quick drive and it did feel smoother to drive, but I dont want to go to far in it without putting it on the dyno and testing the AFR's with the new AFM

I did get a couple of shots of the 22B rear lights that I put in this arvo. Thanks to Yas (red dragon2002) for a letting me have these at a very decent price & it was good to meet ya mate. I know most people would have seen them before on other cars, but here they are again.

After

I have some clear bumper indicators on the way & I already have a set of clear front guard indicators to go on too.

Definitely get the car on a dyno - Z32 has way different voltage parameters to a stock AFM, you will to sort the scaling out.

Nice to meet you too Simon...

Wow you don't muck around do you with mods!

You have done more things to your wags and I've had mine for nearly two years! I will get there but following your build keep up the good work

I will TJ, the FC has allowances for the different AFM's but I do not trust it 100%. It actually seemed to be running richer with the Z32, but without a wideband I ma not going to test the waters.

keep going in the direction you were talking about Yas & you will have a great combo sooner than you think mate.

Can you get any more Tom? I think Neil gave that other piece to Geoff. I have seen how it has improved Geoff's times though, so I am keen to get some now.

Cheers on the lights.

You are right Dave, it has been great in so many ways. Although I guess its not as cost effective as buying a car that is ready to race, we have learnt so, so much by putting it together so far & most of all we know everything that has been done to it first hand, cos we did it, well most of it :)
