My previous Subi was a 97 RX Impreza

have just purchased a 99 gc8 with a Jap O4 2L STi motor with vf34 ball bearing turbo.

Couple of mods
Sti top mount intercooler
Sti 6 speed gearbox
Sti tail lights
R180 rear diff compared to R160 standard
3 inch exhaust from turbo back
Plug and play autronics SM4 computer with anti-lag and launch control
New 16’ Osaka racing rims and Pirelli P7 tires
Motor has done 40k

Agree with this^^ good pickup, terrible wheel choice!

ps: you sure its a 99' ?? Front bar suggests otherwise. Unless the previous owner liked the older style front bumper more (and is on drugs), or had an accident and picked up the new front end at a wreckers or something??

yehhh build plate says 99 its just got the different front end he said the old bumper copped a cricket ball to the front so he changed it

A cricket ball won't do much if any damage to a plastic bumper. Headlights and grill are 97/98 spec also. She has had a hit but looks good regardless.
