You have done well at the price you paid, actually an absolute bargain, but I will let the buyer keep that to himself.

Ron from axis built very slappy motors with huge clearances and this is the reason why it uses alot of oil but they still make good power although the engine life is drastically reduced..

My built 2.5 doesnt use a huge amount of oil asfaik from the few track days etc thats been done on it. Even less now with the air oil separator ive got..

I was looking at that Spec C conversion a few months ago.... Came very close to buying it but didn't have the $ to fix it up. I settled with Monster Mashies old beast and couldn't be happier!

If you have the $ to fix it up I reckon you have a weapon on your hands.

Good work.

Nothing much to fix to be honest.I put four new tyres, oil change, new spark plugs, new front left hand inner guard and retuned. All up about $1300 and runs smooth and very fast.
I also put rear strut brace and charge speed front lip,got all the suspension checked at WA Suspension and it handles like it is on rails. It does need about
$1000 spent on the body work but that can wait a bit. This is my 5th subaru and by far the best.

Cant wait for the next WRX cruise,my kids love them.
