But in saying that I brought one a few months ago for a mate of gumtree for 75 dollars
lol, yeah thats about it for me. i dont push the car hard enough thru corners on the road to need one
You'll say that until you understeer off the road through a damp corner.....

Rear sway & a proper (i.e non factory) wheel alignment will transform how your Bug handles.

If you're going fast enough to understeer off the road on a damp road, you are going too fast.

New unpainted boot from Subaru hole less is ~570 as my car just got a new biot and bumper :) that plus paint.
24mm rear swaybars are for fancy people with their purses full of money driving their fancy STi's...........us commoners with WRX's stick to what the kind folks at Subaru provided us with.
Speak for yourself :P You dont pay for your car anyway.
I believe you would be better off getting a new boot rather then welding the holes up as if the wrong person welds them u may be faced with more warps then you would hope for. But you no doubt already know that

was thinking of pricing one up but going to spend $ on go instead of show.

guessing 5 or 600 plus paint for a boot?
Dont weld it. Look for a second hand RS one first.

If you have better handling setup you can get through a corner at higher speed before it understeers into the tree creating a ball of fire.

Besides we cant all powerslide like you Russ ;)

I know. I've seen your efforts... :)

Saint_23 18-06-2012 06:26 PM

I can get it to slide, problem is getting it to the end up where I was planning... :D
