TJ - yeah I'm still trying to work out why it shorts when we move it. I have been considering a full stand along ecu, atm im thinking Vipec but depends on what i want to to in the future with the car.

Should be quicker than the barge ...

Yep its his old car. From what I got told the old motor went pop and then he throw a stock ej20g in with a stock ecu and sold it to TJ then I've got it from TJ.

Chip went in the day before the Colin Cruise later that year.

Like I have always said with rubber that thing has a 58 in it as is.

So update time;
The AD08's are fitted and feel great, difference between the old tyres and these is night and day.

Then tuning day on Tuesday was going well until something power steering wise gave way. Turned out that the pressure line was rubbing on the up pipe (my fault). So its now running a tighter join off the rack and slightly longer line to make sure we clear it and I have double checked it again. It now sits in a comfortable gap.

No Limits last night was great fun! Besides having a few brake fade moments managed to get a 1:01.0 short track and the long track wasn't run. Big thanks to Franz and Ivan for the instructing throughout the night, I learnt a lot! Ill upload a video soon.

If I could get the brakes a bit more consistent with fluid and maybe lines I'd be happy. That was the most annoying part about last night, second guessing how the brakes were about perform.

I know when I did wanners in that car it had GREAT feel and no fade.

Mainly just a soft pedal/straight to the floor, but a couple of times it felt like I was barely braking but had pedal pressure...

As Dave said was done Thursday afternoon, by the second run it was mucking around. Ivan said the brakes pads were suffering as well (from memory thats what he said). Both Franz and Ivan went "WTF are they?!" when I said i was running QFM's...
Older pads maybe?

Lol I tried that... I over shot the hairpin.. Twice :p (not really one I had the pedal go straight to the floor, other one was me pushing a little to hard haha)

So upgrade the brakes they said.... I upgraded the car :p

Today I officially bought a 2004 MY05 STi :D and havent wiped the smile off my face since, Pics will come in the next day or two, but car is basically stock but they have thrown a FMIC on, which im plaining on pulling out and going back to the STi TMIC (anyone have one let me know :) ) and thats it!
Exterior has seen better days, interior is mint!

Also can a mod just change the title to "Lachys Driveway" or something to that effect, thanks :)

Took it for a blat last night with Lachy. Very nice drive. Bit laggy with the front mount but other than that, handles great, no funny noises. Lachy will clean it up so it look a million bucks.

He couldnt wipe the smile off his face!
