ASG should be able to pressure test your cooling system to check for leaks. In the case of the turbo, with the downpipe removed and system pressurised, they should be able to look and see if you're pushing any coolant out around the seals, shaft and into the housing. Missing oil for starters isn't good either, specially after a service and alarm bells ring here. As for drips on the ground, too many possibilities and an inspection on a hoist should be able to determine where it may be coming from. Def's wouldn't drive to be safe & have the specialists look into it next week mate.

The small sump models like you have are terrible for oil surge, especially on right hand bends.
Perhaps this oil that disappeared from the dipstick (at your recent RAC outing) has made it's way through the standard breather system, into the turbo inlet, and then through the combustion process. This can definately cause white smoke. I would suggest a Tomei oil baffle be installed. (They are a far superior design to others on the market, including cosworth). It could also benefit from an Oil/Air separator such as the Grimmspeed one (as an example).

Dan hopefully it works out to not be a major issue.
I would suggest reading up on AOS and catchcan setups for a car that sees the track. From my research (not first hand experience) some are less effective than others, the most favoured option I have found seems to be the Crawford system but it is pricey. |

AOS suck balls when it comes to hard driving. I put a catchcan in the return line and it still picked up oil which showed how ineffective they are. Ended up ditching AOS and just kepr the catchcan. No blow by etc. Run your finger around where the Y pipe attaches to the turbo, if it sat for a while after hard driving the blow by oil will pool up a bit there and can drip onto the floor as it seeps out between the turbo housing and pipe.

Yup, I'd be a bit concerned about losing 1.5lt at RAC.

no point in having a catchcan without it draining back to the sump imho, you need it back in the sump where it can get picked up & pumped back through the motor

^^^ Thought so as well, until I drained the catch can for the first time, it was full of oilly water/muck. Prob from consensation, but happy its not going back into the sump.
