Bit like mine when it suddenly starting running like a pig, I changed :-

- Coils
- Spark Plugs
- Crank angle sensors
- Checked fuel pump, relays etc

Turned out to be a skipped timing belt, and $1300.00 later I still love the car!!

Similar to mine, it played up for ages and I knew I had a buggered plug on my knock sensor, I had that thing out about 6 times going from over an hour the first time to about 10min in and out, after much fucking around it turned out to be the connectors inside the AFM plug had corroded.

My power steering started to play up about 7yrs ago, it would get heavy sometimes turning into driveways but a few revs would fix that, it's at the stage where I have absolutely no power steering at all now but it's never made a noise or leaked a drop of oil, Corry gave me a pump a few yrs ago but apparently it's a little noisy and I'm very lazy, but it's like parking a Mack truck with flat tyres so gotta do something soon.

But it's never failed to get me from point A to point B.

The fuel pump was thought to have ben upgraded to a Walbro following the conversion. Subsequent checking to eliminate "what if's" revealed a Subaru JECS pump still in place.

That has now been rectified.

This is like the 'concrete' warranty they offer, as soon as you drive it off the concrete the warranty expires

Cross reference the part number with the supplier if a new part was quoted, open can of worms.

This is obviously useless if they carry stock.

Seriously? Installs turbo motor, fails to install fuel pump?

Did the original turbo motor detonate? Or did it spin a bearing?

Probably the same person who charges for a new fuel pump installation.
