It has nothing to do with lightening up or not being Scrooge like. I feel the same way about unsecured tools/ladders/whatever in the back of utes.

i'd be more concerned the damage the tape will do to your paint once you try to remove if after being in the sun for a few weeks

i must say i was impressed not seeing pieces falling off especially on the freeway and obrien road.

i got no issue with people getting "in the sprit" and people have different ways of doing it. my small santa hat was enough for me. its off, its in the cupboard for next years cruise.

what shits me is seeing it still on the car in April like the Australia day flags in farken October.

i see the point of concern with shit coming off, but i give Cat the benefit of the doubt that she knows what she is doing like i do with most of you here......most of you!!!

Each to their own, I don't agree but if its what Cat likes then so be it
But the fact it's all shiny etc I'd be concerned you would get fined as its reflective and distracting to drivers... Just be careful

The offending item doesn't have to break anything to ruin your day. Distractions, visual impairments and such can be the cause for ending your happy day. You want to celebrate, put lights on your house.

If you honestly think that's the point I'm making, then you are an absolute idiot. Consider it ridiculous if you like, but have you had anything hit your windscreen and not come loose while at speed? Surrounded by other vehicles at speed? It's called minimising risk.
