That sound is mindblowing. You can hear how well is it running now. Pretty impressive reaction time too.

Never before noticed you doing the 'burnout' at the water. How much does this help with the AWD? May have to give it a shot next time.

You're not serious, huh...

thankyou, and I'm only launching out of the water at 3-4k just to spin the wheels but that is with the dccd on full lock, I get much less wheel spin at the start when doing that and gotten my best runs aswell....plus it's also fun

I think I shocked a few people the first couple of times I did it as they still probably thought it an n/a Impreza....

Well, in my very limited experience to 1/4mi racing, yes I am. She seems to spin it through in the video posted (her best time), and I would like to know how much of a difference she noticed.

Sitting brake in a RWD, yes, clearly heats up tires. Few spins in AWD. I have little clue, hence myself wanting to improve my own results by asking.

doing a run with no dccd= I would most likely bog at the start, I didn't have this problem when it was n/a because I would launch at 6-6.5k rpm

doing a run with dccd on lock= would mean anything over 3.5krpm and I would get wheelspin which would slow me down and =shitty 60ft

doing a run with dccd on lock and spin through the water= I can launch it harder with no/minimal wheelspin.

this is just what I've figured out over the last couple of months and what works best for me, I don't sit in the water and try to smoke the tyres I just launch out of it to warm them up a little.

I started doing that when I was at the 13.4 mark and each week I was consistently beating my best time until I finally got the 12
