I've got 1 degree cooler in mine, runs fine, just google it but expect to get well over 50,000kl out of a set of platinum or iridium before you need to change them, I had $4.00 Champions in mine last time and it ran great for a couple of years.

From that pic both old and new plugs appear to be heat range 6.
The main difference between the 2 is the iridium plugs should last much longer. 100,000kms however would be really stretching it. 60-80,000kms might be a good guide.
Copper plugs should be re-gapped at service intervals. I usually get about 40,000kms from them.

+ 1 for NGK.

PS. The colour of your plugs is a good way of checking how the engine is running. There are a few plug colour charts on the net as references. But always recommended that any changes be made correctly via a reputable tuner.

This is not a "I broke something " update or a " I've upgraded something" one it is simply a " I had a shitload of fun at the Dam in Waroona " update

The car was clean and respectable looking at the start of New years day.....but that didn't last long....

So basically went nuts but still managed to keep the front lip intact while doing all of this, I managed to follow my mates in their 4x4's to some areas but the dam crossings and deep descents were to much for my car and I would have done some damage, so instead I found a patch of grassy gravel and did some skids
And as I've been promising for some time....vids of Heli's (shitty Samsung s2 spec)

And also a video of me crossing a mud pit

A mate in his Pootrol rippin' donuts

It was quite funny some of the looks I got driving past these huge 4x4's with their big bull bars, winches , 33" muddies ect, but they were clean as a whistle but there I am in my little jap car covered in shit and boosting everywhere
Slap Dash and thehowlfactor like this.

Wow, you're brave! Looks like you had fun... would love to see the state of your engine bay and air filter now.
