Default Finally an introduction

Hi to all, thought it about time to post up my pig and share progress.

The car is a 2006 Subaru wrx that was completely stock when I bought it apart from the genuine Sti body kit and wheels from factory.

Mods which have been done since ownership by myself include.

3inch turboxs exhaust system
Grimmspeed 3 port boost solenoid
K&N air filter

Got the verso done today and no real power increase was felt but it's definitely a lot smoother throughout the entire rev range, and seems to be a bit quieter.

Dyno results weren't that impressive in my opinion but is still early stages.

Managed 215.8 hp and 342.6 nm

Not sure if that is good or not but will get some more mods done and send for retune ASAP.

I think that's about stock sti level, should still be about a 50hp jump from stock? How was there no real power increase? Tuned prior?

I think you're getting kw and hp mixed up Tommy Stock STi should put out around 206kw (276hp).

215hp is pretty decent, my 2litre 05 pulled out 197hp with only a TBE too so figures your 2.5 should pull slightly higher. That said your car was released with 226hp...so not sure what's going on there!

See here for specs.

Sorry definitely an increase from stock but should have mentioned I have had exhaust for a few weeks before the tune but definitely quicker than stock.

If anyone has any ideas to push the hp uP without new turbo the advice would be appreciated.

I think you are mixing up HP/kW at the flywheel vs at the hubs. Which approximately 20% loss.

Helps if I read the specs sheet right! Not even drunk yet..as you were gents, nothing to see here

Either way 215.8hp at the hubs is pretty good, I'd be happy dude. Post up the dyno-plot?
