They are probably xspurt injectors from racetorque. They did the same to me. I gave them a written quote for id1000s and they shoved in the xspurt without telling me. Eat a dick I did.

Car still runs great. Another oil change without consuming a drop. Been replacing panels. Seems cheaper than respraying.
Replaced 2 doors and both front fenders. Have the other 2 doors in the shed to replace but I've been delaying it as I need to transfer the guts between them and it's a pain in the bum. Also have a rear fender flare brand new to install. Went American carbon fibre grille instead of China spec this time. Better quality carbon for sure. Middle piece perfect fitment but the outside 2 needed some finessing. All in all looks a lot better than the last setup. Got a turbosmart dual port bov to install was a gift. Will have it set to recirc. Since I'm peaking at 23psi was wondering how the stock one was coping. Will see if it makes any difference. I'm not expecting any miracles. Bonnet n scoop still needs a respray. Car was detailed and dude said the bonnet clear coat is done for. Whoopass is back on so looking forward to a hit down there next time I'm around

Yeah the stock Bov was not coping at all. Building and holding boost a lot better. Also maintaining well on shifts.
Confirmed, dont run stock bov over 20 psi. Surely the grub screw mod would work as well.

Resprayed bonnet scoop. looks neater. clearcoat is still tired on the roof so im thinking just gonna gloss wrap it for now as a band aid fix.
Installed turbo blanket and grimmspeed v2 heatshield on turbo as it was naked and radiating masses of heat. huge difference.
Replaced front disc's on my t3 5000's and put some fresh pads. went with bendix ultimate plus.
Coming down to perth this break for a hit at the driver training center with tokyo motorsports crew. I was invited by a friend having work done to his evoX by them.
Im pretty sure these lame ass tyres are going to let me down. also on that subject will go back to 225's next set. the 235s scrub a little and the car just doesn't launch as hard with them. Also did oil, upper engine and new kn filter. Will try bleed some fresh dot4 in if i can get a friend to help before then. Engine still perfect. Put a processwest cover on it as the alternator was exposed and rubbed through a line on my catch can. looks neater.

First track session. Great fun and great people.
The Tokyo guys where a really nice bunch.
Found out a lot about the car.
Blouch was super responsive with power always there when I needed it.
Plenty of mid range so I didn't really work the redline.
Tyres where not terrible bit definitely not track tyres.
Nice and predictable but easy to get loose on brakes or power if not careful. I was not there for track records so by the end I was happy to power slide out of corners just for fun.
Brakes where stellar. Didn't fade or show any signs. I was hardly late braking every corner though and the runs where relatively short.
Car was pretty well balanced. Relatively neutral. Easy to oversteer with a bit of throttle control.
Car wasn't up to being continuously ran.
Had to extend my breaks between runs to cool oil down properly. I assume due to multiple factors. Stock cooling system with a closed deck. 5w40 instead of say 5w60 and no oil cooler.
I seen what was up with my temp and pressure and avoided what could have been potentially catastrophic.
Was perfectly fine with extended breaks.
So yeah plenty of fun, car came out unscathed. Didn't bin it or spin off. Know what I need for next time.

where going flex.
id1300xds ordered, aem 340lph and zeitronix kit.
im leaving the rest up to the tuner.
im trying to avoid a surge tank but if we need rails, fpr ect it will be their decision.
also will need hard wire kit for pump.
not expecting monster power and 30psi straight out of the gate as im still on the stock sti TMIC and would surely heat things up too much on big boost.
still debating big tmic or go the front.
I feel with my tiny 8cm i should stick to the original plan of torque and response and stay tmic but i could be swayed.
Be good to get rid of these junk Xspurt injectors that have plagued my idle since installed.
Also wrapped my roof in black carbon avery denison. By no means a professional job but looks a lot better than peeling clear coat. my car is rarely garaged and my paint is destroyed so its a band aid fix for a while until i can give it a full respray.
Doing this all as my new house is being built while juggling my second mortgage so i feel lucky to even have the nugget still.
