Yeah, anodise the lot, give no fuck for clicks.
( I'm still yet to be convinced the anodising had anything to do with the clicking anyway)

a few more of the pics on the internet

car back in its car hole after panel beating. I think I figured out why it keeps shitting itself.... fouled plugs! of all things. not running long enough when i start it. oh wells. fletty helped me push the bastard thing back into the garage

Drivers side airpump delete on, no worries (after removing inlet manifold and turbo, ffs)

Pax side airpump delete... not so much. From what the internet told me, it was a simple case of drilling the hole out to suit. Turns out the stainless the plates are made of is stronger than my drill bits. If you want something done properly... give it to Russ. Should have bought the Cosworth ones...

Speaking of Russ, I accidently an engine mount in the old car and it tore the bushing in my Laile Beatrush pitch mount. So I had Russ turn some new bushings... from ally. I am holey expecting this to rip a chunk out of the firewall one day.

Bolted the TGV deletes and manifold on the engine and started cleaning bits up. For those asking why I did the TGV delete, this is why:

Much cleaner flowing.

Also had some crew over on a Thursday to drink beer and start pulling the old car apart and do a little work on Scotts. Oh and some Two Fat Indians home delivery. So good.

Thanks to Dave, Dave, Lachy and Scott for not really achieveing much but having fun and trying to convince me to drive the GX around the block without working lights at night time in the rain for handbrake funtimes

lachy294 and Wells97 like this.

Oh and can confirm the turbo is a VF49. Doesn't seem to be much information about them on the internet

Rags stuffed down the inlet ports probably doesn't help either.
