Simple things like changing oils, fitting aftermarket parts ect ect can all be done in your own garage, if need be get it checked over by a professional later or get some of the forum members that have done things before to give you a hand.

do as much as you can yourself that's my opinion
Sure i can do some of the mechanical but I pass my mod ideas around here first

Oh yes I know what I want eventually, so with every power mod I plan a handling mod to go with it
I'm not one for power first then handling

I'm sure others with more knowledge than me can confirm, but if I were you, I would get the exhaust and intake installed in Perth at the same time as getting it tuned. I fear that a drive from Karratha to Perth with those two mods fitted and no tune might cause you some issues. Or are you transporting it down to keep the k's off?

With mine, the exhaust was ok, but the intake made it run nasty on my short trip to ASG.

I'll be sure to look out for this black-on-black beast whenever I'm in K-town...it must stand out like dogs balls being one of the few tidy cars up here!

Well looking at all a few places, Revlimit, Race Torque or allstar.
The lightweight pulley is from old Skool mod thinking,(the more you lighten the mass that the engine has to drive it aids in power to the wheel no matter how small the gain)

I'm looking at 280 to 300 or so atw for a start, but got to do the pistons and conrods to make it reliable

Can remember driving to Karratha 3 times a year with my old job and lost count of the NEAR misses we had with local/imported animals on the roads between Geraldton/Carnarvon/Karratha....

I was implying the CHEAP NASTY SHOCKING DIY mods that have been done on Wrxs that we all see from time to time around the streets/highways of Perth..
