Im actually not overly fussed, just surprised at the reaction it caused.

Ive forgotten how to be a ruthless limiter launching idiot anyhow.

230hp will give you approx. a 13.5
260hp will give you approx. a 13.2

Both time above are from forester GT's both cars had 5 speeds at the time..
It's not just weight, it has the aerodynamics of a brick.

Just FYI...

Well since the great speed debate of may - not much to report.

Brakes sorted thanks to South West Brakes - simply needed a skim off front rotors.

Stops HARD.

I am going to say the dyno was under reading. Definitely not a 13.5 second car given a couple of bits of info gathering shall we say.

However, next pay I will probably go an EBC - would like to dial in some gain and get it onto boost a little faster.

Rims and sus are here in 4 weeks so I will keep waiting.

Nice. The STI rims will be a nice addition and the coils will bring it down to earth to an Antilag approved height.

Correct me if I am wrong the VF24 has a P18 rear with a medium front housing. Flowing roughly the same (slightly less perhaps) as a VF34?

Yeah P18.

I definitely dont think it has the top end stonk of a vf30/34 (pretty much the same except for bearings in the 34) which I have previously had.

On the same dyno (though a few years earlier and definitely calibrated) on the same boost (1 bar) my VF30 powered Lib made 45hp more than this car did.. but as I have said I suspect the dyno read low as it has not been calibrated since its move.

Well at least it gives you some room to improve with a boost increase and not have to change turbo. Not having BB in that sized turbo would only cost a few hundred RPM so no major loss, especially since it came on the car.

End of the day if I really cared I would throw an ecu in it and add timing early. EBC with some gain trickery will do. I dont mind when it comes on I just want it to hit a little harder.
