Yes and Yes - it is Dylan's.

Long time friend and co-worker, bought new golf so luckily this was just sitting around.

Someone should buy it.

Skidpans are the best place to push your car past its limit, problem is 99% of the people don't. You don't need to be going 150km/h to lose it and then try catch it.
Try it next time.

I dont disagree that they are fun, but I have done enough of them I would prefer to do long track - getting the braking right down the back and turned in nice and neat, then picking the point to get on throttle through the sweeper then flicking it through the left under brakes is great fun and rewarding.

Also now has a miss around 4k which is uber annoying.

So a proper update.

Picked up car today, nice oil free shiny engine bay.

- Wrapped headers smoke heaps the first time you run the car. Hilarious for tricking people into thinking car is on fire.

- Obvious car had an up pipe leak - probably contributed to the doughy feeling.

- At idle, tiny hint of dak remains. On the move - nope. Close your eyes and you wouldnt have a clue. Sounds Honda/Evoish

- It feels like it wants to go, and go hard. Except, a misfire. Did not do this before I dropped it off so back to workshop tomorrow for a look. Feels like plugs but not sure, may have missed a plug putting it back together. The only thing that concerns me was I was told the old timing belt was out a tooth on install. However, did not miss or the like.. needs sorting. Headers would not lead to boost increase and boost cut would it? Asides from that, even on 50% throttle it feels strong and responsive. Plenty happy.

- The saga continues, wu tang, wu tang.

Air flow through the engine would have changed for sure. Possiblty the car may be over compensating fueling wise. Good possiblity you have fould up a plug I think.
