Should have bought an STI

Found some of this today and got it for 20% off as S/C were doing store wide sale.

To save me the pain before I get started making it, did you fasten it in with metal ties, or was it just sitting in pressed up again stuff to keep it in place.

Actually i made tabs which bolted behind whatever i could find in the general vacinity. Its pretty expensive stuff so i made a template first.

Great minds think alike (or retards flock together) because I did the same thing!

I am pulling my intercooler off to bleed the clutch in a week so will be making up a quick cardboard template before I cut the sheet up.

I have a sheet of this stuff waiting to be made into a turbine heat shield. Interesting stuff more flexible than I was expecting though.

It goes on special about every one and half month at repco. It should be around $40.
