Diff is in. Disregarding the placebo effect i havn't really notice a difference driving around on the street giving it a squirt here, and there and i dont think ill notice anything till i hit the track. It was surprisingly easy enough to do by myself. Used penrite 80-90w LSD mineral oil

Diff dropped

You've really good pour the torque in to get them to lock. Shouldn't be too bad on your 2.5L.

I noticed an epic difference when I did mine, as I went from a 5-speed WRX "loose, open" drive line to essentially a 6-speed STI driveline with the 2-way, where you were pretty much there already.

Quote:
The OEM STi 2way doesn't have a good initial bite and the pressure ring ramps are 45* angle. You need to apply a lot of torque for lock up. Upgrade pressure rings with 60* ramps and pinion cross shaft available from RalliSpec. That's my first step before jumping to a KAAZ 1.5way.
Or sell and go the KaaZ but it will be more aggressive, not sure if you want that. It's not your daily ..

Finally got around to uploading some gopro footage from round 7 of the sprint series. Was my second time running the big river circuit and my best time was 3secs slower than my best time from round 4. I'd had a more aggressive wheel alignment done inbetween so was hoping id pick up some time but instead made a shit ton of mistakes early on and just spent the day trying out different lines and gear choices.

How are you finding the STI 2 way LSD? For me, typical driving - wouldn't even know it was there.

Pulled a legal U turn at a set of lights the other day, and put the boot into first gear, definitely know something is up..

Ey dude, quick Q. What product did you use to heat protect your clutch and brake reservoirs? Looks like its easy to use and fasten in place?
