20inch rims and coil overs, kind of an oxymoron?

Not my cup of tea, but it's his car, he can do what he wants with it...

I'm sure he will find out both good and bad sides to having it that way.

I think the rims LOOK fantastic.

The size though... Jezza, you're a lot more optimistic than I am about people learning. IMO people who put 19/20 inch rims on a AWD car probably aren't going to notice the detrimental side effects or care. At the end of the day it's probably a straight line car anyhow and won't matter too much.

This car is set up for straight line and casual cruises. It's never seen a track and never will. In saying that, if I do have the urge for some track day, I still have the sti wheels.

Hope those cruises dont have any corners or turns, because that car is going to be a pig to turn the wheel.

And further, if by straight line you mean drag racing, then you want smaller wheels, not bigger. You may have a good top end speed but you'll need a 4 mile drag race to make any use of it. 1/4 mile wise, your car will be at an instant disadvantage with oversize wheels due to a larger rolling diameter (do the math).

Fail and fail.

No worries, quick swap over to the sti wheels and I'm ready for the drags. Way too many cops and speed cameras on the road for anything silly. With 500+bhp , gotta give some people a chance
