Straner MY11 Premium WRX

So i never really introduced myself, just kind of floated around with a comment here and there for the last year or so.

I bought my MY11 Premium Silver WRX Hatch back in 2012 as an exec demo. Since then I've lightly modified the car, trying to keep my wallet and insurance happy.

As the car sits now:

Mechanical:
Full custom 3" TBE w/ X-Force Downpipe
ASG Tune by Sean
Ultrex short shifter
GFB BOV
18x9.5 +38 Rota MXR rims wrapped w/ Nexen 255/35/18 n6000
Hella Horn swap (yes typical red, thinking of painting to silver to match car)
LED light swap.

Cosmetic (All DIY):
Kenwood amp running 40x rms to the stock speakers
JL 1000w rms amp running two subs (ridiculously big subs from when being a teenager with big subs was cool).
Red foot-well lights on switch
Alteration to Nav to work whilst driving
(flame suit on) Experimentation with plastidip
...and a 'New Car Smell' pine tree thingy.

I do quiet like the look of the black fog light housing and will probably buy a set in obsid-black. The blackout on the bottom of the front bumper is covering a quiet nasty scratch obtained when i first got the car, will be fixed soon enough. Looking at next to go suspension mods, coilovers, sways, braces etc.

More HP gains may be a little while off as i like my insurance premiums at the moment. One step at a time though.

When i first got her:

Nice clean example of a wrx hatch I think man, awesome!

Looks like it sits well on the new wheels too.

Cheers. Im loving the look of the new wheels. theyre a load wider, i thought i would have troubles with the 255 tyres, but those flared fenders just handle anything.

Has that rear left rim been rashed yet?
Looked like it got very one in one of those photos!

Nope, all the new ones are 100%. Possibly need a wipe over, a little bit of break dust on them

Were the rims sealed with anything prior to fitting?

Looks good mate. I'm loving hatch/wagons at the moment. I think I'm getting older haha

Not too sure. Had them fitted at a wheel aligner in Morley, care of my mechanic. Excuse my lack of knowledge, but what does sealing them do? and is it too late to do so?

Acts like polish on the paint, gives a small barrier of protection that can help to stop brake dust baking onto the rim.

Car looks good by the way!
