2012 Spec C STI Brembo Calipers
Hi guys, I just secured a brand new set of 2012 gold spec C sti calipers for my 2011 wrx and was wondering if anyone has fitted similar to there my11 wrx and if so was there any issues like clearance of the dust covers on the rear or handbrake problems ect
Any advice would be awesome cheers using the Perth-WRX mobile app |

They won't fit... Sell them to me... ;-)
All bolts up, you just need to trim / remove the rear dust shields. Easy enough to do with a little dremal or a screwdriver and a hammer if your a bit ruff.... These the ones from Dean at maximums? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Are adaptors needed for the rears or is that no longer the case?

Fount this on NASIOC.
04-07 and 08+ STI Brembo Caliper Differences. Front: Pretty much identical other than color and what is printed on the caliper. - 04-07 is gold and says Brembo - 08+ is black and says STI - Both black and gold calipers will directly bolt up to ALMOST ALL front Subarus without modifications. Rear: Very different in terms of geometry of the calipers and offsets and mounting locations. As well as the colors. - 04-07 is gold, has pistons that are 36mm in diameter, reads Brembo on the side. - 08+ is black, has pistons that are 40mm in diameter, reads STI on the side. - 04-07 calipers will fit on ALMOST all rear Subaru cars, older cars require our V1.1 Bracket, newer cars require our V2.0 bracket. - 08+ calipers WILL NOT fit on the rear of older cars, they WILL fit on the newer cars WITHOUT modifications.

Nope adapters not needed, the hubs are essentially the same sti to wrx, pattern is different though, 5x100 v's 5x114... Handbrake is also same 190mm. So as long as you have 08+ rotors also (need to be drilled 5x100 or buy combo rotors from Dba.
All brembo's 08+ are the same, black or gold spec c jobbies. (Not to be confused with the earlier gold ones. ) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If you still have the factory alloys, you will have clearance issues up front. You either need to run a 3mm spacer, or get some new rims.
