Whilst im not doing any track work now, it's possible i may get into it in the future. For the time being, i just want to build a tuff street car with all the right mods.

Explicit, I never took into account the weight of rubber. Will this make a noticable difference in ride/handling? Im not sure which rim i'll be buying but definately volk or work so im already saving weight here.

Also, how harsh would the car feel on 35 rubber compared to 40 on 18's with coilovers? Could you actually feel the difference? I guess the 35 has a stiffer sidewall.

Final question guys..imagine this was a poll and i were to ask which of the 2 rim sizes you would pick for GC8..what would it be if cost was not an issue and you were chasing the best rim/tyre size for handling performance?

Im looking at Misters list and believe that 17's may be the way to go afterall.
